Dr. Matthews has extensive experience in treating complex elbow injuries and is well recognized for his expertise in caring for the throwing athlete. He has over 20 years experience with both Arthroscopic and open treatment of the elbow in throwing athletes at all levels of play. His success of returning athletes to successful throwing careers after UCL reconstructions (“Tommy John”) and other arthroscopic procedures is well recognized.
