As both an orthopaedic center and a sports injury clinic, we specialize in a variety of non-operative treatments options for musculoskeletal conditions, such as activity modification, traditional and alternative medications, physical therapy, and other modalities. When indicated we may also offer corrective surgical procedures. We offer the most progressive surgical treatments options available for orthopaedics and sports medicine conditions , including arthroscopic and open shoulder surgery, knee surgery, elbow, hand, wrist surgery, foot and ankle surgery, as well as joint replacement surgery. Dr. Dan also offers PRP (platelet rich plasma) and viscosupplementation injections.

Dr. Daniel Matthews, a Board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, is sub-specialty certified in sports medicine and is very personable. He and his professional staff at AOSM offer comprehensive care for a variety of orthopaedic conditions. Our clinic is conveniently located next door to Thomas Medical Center in Daphne, making us just a short drive away for patients from Orange Beach to West Mobile, and all surrounding areas.
